Abbey went back to dance class for this first time in a very long time this past Tuesday! Her numbers were high at clinic last visit and I knew they were starting their recital dance after Christmas break so we decided to start taking her back. We're praying for her to stay healthy as we start to venture out a little more. She LOVED her class! About half way through she had to go potty and she must have told me at least three times while we were in the bathroom that she was having sooo much fun! It always brings tears to my eyes when I get to see Abbey do "normal" things. Watching her run in her class with the rest of the girls and dance like there's not a care in the world brings much joy to my heart!
I tried to get a picture of Abbey and her cousin Gracie in their class, but Abbey wanted me to put my camera away (I do get a little annoying sometimes with my camera!) I did get a couple shots of her at home before we left though :). Early next summer the girls will be in a ballet dance in the recital and I'm not sure I'll be able to see much of it through my tears, but I sure will be proud of our brave little warrior as she dances away!
And speaking of dance... There's only 3 days left until the "Praying for Abbey" show! If you are coming and haven't gotten your tickets yet, get them now :). There are still some great seats available (last few rows in orchestra section C). For details about the show, click here.

Seeing Abbey in her leotard and tights again brings tears to my eyes because I remember the photos of her in her first dance class that you posted just before you all knew what a battle was raging in her tiny body. These photos mean so much because she looks radiant, so happy and so beautiful despite all that she has been through. I'd love to take Jaden to her recital in the spring so let me know the date when you find out. And, as you know, we're very, VERY much looking forward to this weekend :) xoxo to you and Abbey!
Aww what a cute little ballerina. Abbey looks so good you'd never know by looking at her all that she's been through. Praying that she stays well. God Bless!~
Wonderful! So glad that Abbey is starting to do "normal" things. She is such an amazing warrior. Such an inspiration to all. Keep it up Abbey. Hugs to all of you.
Love,

Abbey looks so sweet in her little outfit, and those curls...just adorable! Glad to see her smiling and doing fun kid stuff! Praying with you for her continued health.
Those pics of beautiful Ms Abbey brought a HUGE smile to my face :)
Continued prayers always...
