Abbey's Story

Western Reserve - Grace Church

Saturday, September 25th - 5:30 pm
Sunday, September 26th - 9:30 am & 11:15 am

This weekend our church is doing a documentary on our journey through Abbey's leukemia. Our Pastor (Pastor Jason Haymaker) is doing a series called "Our of the Ashes" and it's about pain and suffering and why bad things happen to good people. There are a very talented group of people working hard on the video and our prayer (as it has been since the day Abbey was diagnosed) is that God would be glorified through this journey that we have been on. We know God is going to use our Abbey in big ways as we share about this great trial in our lives and the way that God has loved and cared for our family in huge ways over these past two years. If you live in the area, we would love if you could be there! If you have any questions, please e-mail us at colbert06@yahoo.com. Above is the trailer that they showed this past weekend in church so I attached it so you could see too :). We hope to see many of you there :).

I will soon do an update of all going on here in our new home. We have been busy, busy, busy, but all is going so well and we are blessed beyond words by this gift that God has given us :). The kids are adjusting beautifully and we are just so very excited :). Hope this finds you all doing well!

As someone who has followed your story since the beginning I really wish I could be there on Sunday. My thoughts will be with the family. Looking forward to reading about it and also more about the new house. God Bless!

I wish we could see the documentary as well. Please ask them to post it to Vimeo or some other website so that we can watch.

Why does God allow these things to happen? The only answer that I ever come up with that is good enough for me and consistent with His word, that he allows these things for our good and for His glory! What an amazing God that would allow Abbey's cancer and Christ's horrible, terrible death on a cross in front of a gearing crowd for our GOOD! It's a hard thing to wrap my finite mind around.

I have gloried in God's grace as I've watched your family over the Internet in the past two years. I know God will continue to use your story to bring people to love Him. Thanks for sharing.

Hello,
You can read this book: You are not sick, you are thirsty – Don’t treat thirst with medication by Dr. F. Batmaghelidj and a few other books by Dr. B.

Dehydration and lack of salt cause many diseases, including cancer according Dr. F. Batmaghelidj (He is Christian!)
Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other. Mark 9:50
God bless and heal your daughter.
