Bright Spots

From Andy:
Jim sent these pictures this morning. In the midst of difficulty God's grace and mercy is evident. We are praying for his unfailing love. You can see the rest here.

Dear Jim and Shelley,
Our hearts and prayers are with you and Abbey as you walk the cancer road together. You described it well, Shelley; the experience is truly like riding a roller coaster. Jim, it has been a long time since Roger and I have seen you, but know that we well understand what you are going through now, since multiple myeloma, Roger's cancer, is a sister cancer to leukemia and lymphoma, so many of the treatments and procedures are the same. Our advice would be to take each day as it comes; try not to speculate too much on what each new symptom might mean or go too far into the future.
The Lord knows how the icy fingers of fear grip your hearts with each new revelation and how your hearts drop to see Abbey in this very serious condition. In the deepest way possible, she is in His care and love. And as you cling to the Rock and lift your feet above the raging waters, know that it is really your loving Father who is doing the holding and that He will raise you higher as those flood waters come.
May our faithful God bless and enable you to walk this path that He has carved out for you.
Love, Karen and Roger Clark

We will continue to pray for little Abbey--know that you are not alone. I am so thankful that He is holding you in the midst of Abbey's physical suffering and your emotional suffering.
We love you guys. -Laurel and Peter Greer
